" The Inspiration of Tai Lue Fabric"
Linchawa is a community that creates jobs by making and selling bags made from water hyacinth, water plants to improve the income of housewives in Phayao province. Linchawa's bags are hand-knit in a variety of shapes and sizes, dyed in a variety of colors to make high-quality of water hyacinth products.
Inspired by the life of the villagers who weave water hyacinth, this project proposes baskets and planter covers with the iconic fabric of the Tai Lue tribe in Phayao. The baskets can be transformed to suit any purpose, and the planter covers are designed to blend in with the plants in a contemporary way. The bright colors and attractive patterns which are characteristic of the Tai Lue fabric will brighten your life.
