" New crochet material Infinite Style "
Jeenjaw Crochet is located in Wiangchai, Chiang Rai Province. Most people in Wiangchai are engaged in agriculture and there are many paddy fields around. After the rice harvest, a lot of straw is burned as garbage and the smoke generated by the burning is a big air pollution problem. Focusing on such straw, we created a new material made of straw and rope, and proposed two kinds of products: a basket and a vase, using the new material. This new material is characterized by its unique solidity and shape memory because it is made of straw and rope as heartwood for crocheting. Originally, crochet is often used for two-dimensional products, but this time, we tried to take advantage of the memory material to create a three-dimensional product.
