is the conceptual design of DUWUDUWU Bangkok.

 

 

 

DUWUDUWU brand was launched on the pinewood table in my tiny bedroom in October 2014. The name came from one of my most favorite bird named Victoria’s Riflebird and also known as Duwuduwu to the local Aboriginal people in Australia. Without hesitation, their attractive name and incredible habits of this charming bird became the name of this brand.

All DUWUDUWU’s products are created by myself and a small group of craftsmen that totally care about the style and the quality of our products with affordable price. Some products are also made by  local craftsmen in Thailand. We believe in local wisdom from people around the world and we heartily try to combine them with our products to be one of a kind products that customers will be proud to have our DUWUDUWU’s merchandise.

 

In this project, I'm a Product Designer (Pichakorn Meedech). I appreciate the idea about entrepreneurial interests, that traveling. He usually keeps memories by photography. He told me that" In nature, there are many things to look for.

 

From the interest to designing. Entrepreneur and I developed the concept, materials, and design many times. In my opinion, The hardest thing is a material experiment. Because It's making new techniques for natural fiber fabric.
